Destino que reta la vida
Este año, la muestra “Huellas de Montaña” se une al espíritu de los coleccionistas de retos. En la montaña no acumulamos objetos; atesoramos instantes, coleccionamos recuerdos e imágenes del esfuerzo y de la superación propia. Buscamos fotografías que sean verdaderos hallazgos visuales y documenten la fuerza vital propia y del entorno.
Queremos alimentar esta colección visual con imágenes en estas cinco categorías:
- El límite del cuerpo: El inventario del desgaste, el sudor y la superación extrema al desafiar el terreno y al propio cuerpo, que siempre nos demuestra su gran fortaleza.
- Paisajes retadores: El archivo de un territorio agreste, tormentas, frío y senderos que exigen lo mejor de nosotros a cada paso.
- Naturaleza resiliente: Tesoros de supervivencia; flora y fauna que se adapta, florece, desafía las condiciones del ecosistema y nos recuerda constantemente su fuerza.
- Compañerismo en la adversidad: La colección de la empatía; esos invaluables instantes de apoyo mutuo para no rendirse, que son la prueba de que la vida es posible en comunidad.
- Paisaje inconmensurable: La colección de lo infinito; composiciones que muestran la majestuosidad del entorno frente a la escala humana.
Cada imagen es una pieza de colección. Un registro visual de que la montaña es un destino que reta la vida.
Historia detrás de la imagen:
Sabemos por experiencia propia, que muchas veces las fotografías no cuentan toda la historia, pero detrás de cada fotografía hay una historia que merece ser contada. En este apartado, te invitamos a compartir esos detalles invisibles que añaden profundidad y contexto a tu obra. Describe los momentos únicos, los desafíos enfrentados, o las anécdotas personales detrás de la cámara. Cuéntanos sobre los personajes que aparecen en la imagen, sus vidas o el impacto de ese momento capturado. Reflexiona sobre tu proceso creativo: ¿Qué te llevó a ese lugar? ¿Qué sentiste al presionar el obturador? Este es el espacio para revelar la riqueza de experiencias que subyacen a tu trabajo fotográfico. Cada fotografía tiene su propia historia y queremos leerla. La narrativa no debe ser superior a 600 caracteres.

Incentivos:
– Evento inaugural de difusión y exposición física de las obras en las categorías Profesional y Amateur
– Para la categoría dispositivo móvil la difusión se realizará virtual y/o a través de una pantalla de TV en el mismo espacio de la exposición física de las otras categorías.
– Premiación al primer puesto en la categoría profesional.
– Premiación al primer puesto en la categoría amateur.
– Premiación al primer puesto en la categoría dispositivo móvil.
– Reconocimiento en las redes sociales y web a los seleccionados.
Premiación:
A los autores de las 3 obras seleccionadas, se les dará constancia de participación, trofeo, y camiseta FESMO.
Premiación en efectivo: Para la categoría profesional y amateur se les dará premiación monetaria según el monto que se recoja en las inscripciones, dividida de la siguiente forma 65% para profesional 35% para Amateur.
Premiación de Patrocinadores: El ganador de la categoría Profesional tendrá 1 noche doble en la cabaña Gralaria, el ganador de la categoría Amateur tendrá 1 noche doble en la habitación Suite presidencial y el ganador de la categoría dispositivo móvil tendrá 1 noche doble en habitación Suite junior del Hotel Termales del Ruiz (aplican términos y condiciones del establecimiento).

A destiny/destination that challenges life
This year, the «Huellas de Montaña» exhibition embraces the spirit of challenge collectors. In the mountains, we don’t accumulate objects; we treasure moments, collect memories and images of effort and self-improvement. We seek photographs that are true visual discoveries and document the vital force of both ourselves and our surroundings.
We want to enrich this visual collection with images in these five categories:
- The Limits of the Body: An inventory of the wear and tear, sweat, and extreme overcoming of challenges as we confront the terrain and our own bodies, which always demonstrate their great strength.
- Challenging Landscapes: An archive of a rugged territory, storms, cold, and trails that demand the best from us at every step.
- Resilient Nature: Treasures of survival; flora and fauna that adapt, flourish, defy the conditions of the ecosystem, and constantly remind us of their strength.
- Companionship in Adversity: A collection of empathy; Those invaluable moments of mutual support, of not giving up, are proof that life is possible in community.
- Immeasurable Landscape: The collection of the infinite; compositions that showcase the majesty of the environment against the human scale.
Each image is a collector’s item. A visual record that the mountain is a destination that challenges life.
Story Behind the Image:
We know from experience that photographs often don’t tell the whole story, but behind every photograph lies a story that deserves to be told. In this section, we invite you to share those invisible details that add depth and context to your work. Describe the unique moments, the challenges faced, or the personal anecdotes behind the camera. Tell us about the people in the image, their lives, or the impact of that captured moment. Reflect on your creative process: What led you to that place? What did you feel when you pressed the shutter? This is the space to reveal the wealth of experiences that underlie your photographic work. Each photograph has its own story, and we want to read it. The narrative should not exceed 600 characters.

Incentives:
– Opening event for the dissemination and physical exhibition of the works in the Professional and Amateur categories
– For the mobile device category, dissemination will be done virtually and/or via a TV screen in the same space as the physical exhibition for the other categories.
– Prize for first place in the Professional category.
– Prize for first place in the Amateur category.
– Prize for first place in the Mobile device category.
– Recognition on social media and the website for the selected entries.
Awards:
The authors of the 3 selected works will receive a certificate of participation, a trophy, and a FESMO t-shirt.
Cash Prizes: For both the professional and amateur categories, monetary prizes will be awarded based on the total amount collected from registrations, divided as follows: 65% for professional and 35% for amateur.
Sponsor Prizes: The winner of the Professional category will receive 1 double night in the Gralaria cabin, the winner of the Amateur category will receive 1 double night in the Presidential Suite room, and the winner of the Mobile Device category will receive 1 double night in a Junior Suite room at the Termales del Ruiz Hotel (terms and conditions of the establishment apply).
